Recent lab news:
- We welcome Nelsy Niño as a new PhD
student to our research team. Nelsy's graduate studies focus on
tropical seedeaters. She is co-supervised by Dr. Oscar Laverde of
Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia.
- We welcome Connor Acorn as a new Master's
student to our research team.
Connor's graduate studies focus on Ovenbirds. He is co-supervised by
Dr. Jenn Foote of Algoma University.
- We welcome Dr. Erin Wall as a new Postdoctoral
Researcher on our research team. Erin's research on humpback whales is
supported by Mitacs with our research partners at Raincoast
Conservation Foundation and North Coast Cetacean Society.
- Congratulations to the many members of our lab
who presented research at the joint annual meeting of the American
Ornithological Society and Society of Canadian Ornithologists in
